Hello again...

Helloo there! Sorry that I haven't posted anything for a while...well ok..AGES! I've been catching up with uni work, but I'm back on track now and have many more posts to come in the next few weeks! Here are some of my recent purchases; I bought them yesterday in Cardiff. The blouse, which I looovee, is from 'Vintage Affair,' as Paisley is in this Spring/Summer I thought it would be perfect teamed with some denim short shorts! I really like my what I call 'ice cream top' as well, the blocked pastel colours are simple yet it makes a statement, the fringed black tee is a nice basic to have (and only a fiver!) both from TKMaxx.

New face of British Fashion?

Peter Pilotto is a graduate from Central St Martins, London; they have dominated the new faces of fashion with his Spring/Summer line (yes it is plural, they're two designers called Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos). His new way of displaying prints is brilliant, quite tribal and bursting with colour. I loved one dress in particular, following the Peplum trend; this dress worn by the stunning Miranda Kerr is very wearable. Filled with abstract prints and embellishment inspired from a trip to the pacific islands, Pilotto is definately one designer to keep an eye on!

I heard the original of this song by Gotye on Greg James's show on Radio 1 for the first time the other day on the way back from uni. I know, where have I been?! A friend of mine told me about this cover and it's even better in my opinion! All of their voices are brilliant and the way they are all in sync with each other is impressive to say the least. Definitely my favourite song at the moment! Have a listen :)
